The Webcam is long gone. But this is what it used to look like when we were in Evanston:
The former Inner Drive Technology World Headquarters, Evanston, Illinois, 4 m above ground level, where the time is 9:20 PM. Sunrise is at 5:20 AM.
The camera is pointing south-east over Chicago Avenue, Evanston, looking across toward the North Shore hotel and Davis Street.
The image is refreshed every 60 seconds.
The camera used to be in Chicago. We shut it down on 15 February 2008. There's a brief history of the Webcam on David Braverman's blog, as well as some info about the camera.
Latest temperature inside the IDT International Data Center: 24.1°C (75.4°F) at 9:19 PM.
The webcam is now connected to a temporary host, an old laptop we had lying around. We'll keep it running as long as we can. David Braverman has more on his blog.
